Hello friends, October is here and I'm looking forward to all this month holds! There are several opportunities to slow down, learn, read, reflect, and cultivate rhythms that help us stay rooted in Christ in the midst of real life. Here’s what’s ahead... 🕊️ The Last Sacred Pause of the Year Our final Sacred Pause of 2026 is today, October 1 at 12:00 PM CT and it's not too late to join us. We’ll spend an hour slowing down with Scripture, guided prayer, and reflective journaling. It's a wonderful opportunity to step away for a few moments and be still in God's presence. Enjoy a retreat on your lunch break today! Register here for Sacred Pause. 🌿 Soul Care for the Rest of Us is now Sacred Rhythms! You may recognize Sacred Rhythms: it began as a five-week intensive in 2025 and grew into a five-month cohort earlier this year. Now it’s officially our community! Our free, fully asynchronous fall journey begins October 5 with an Overview Week, followed by a new Sacred Rhythms focus each week. Join us for the journey. 📚 Reading for the Soul A new season of Reading for the Soul begins the week of October 19! We will slowly read through Beloved by Francis Chan and reflect together on what it means to live from the love of God. I’m also introducing new membership options this month, with more ways to journey through the book together. Come read with us. 🎙️ Where I'm Speaking This Month I’ll be speaking at two free online events this month! On Monday, October 5 at 12 PM CT, join me for Sacred Rhythms for Real Life, a free live masterclass hosted in The Skool Classifieds community. You can join directly through the community or register through my website. Everyone who registers with me will also receive a free resource after the masterclass. Then, October 19–23, I’ll be speaking at the Sustainable Success Summit, a free online event featuring 100+ speakers and hosted inside the Leadership Skool community. My session, A Sustainable Rhythm for Real Life, explores how we can cultivate sustainable rhythms that support the meaningful work we’re building and the lives we’re living. Join the summit!
There are many opportunities this month, and I hope something here meets you right where you are. Whether you join me for a gathering, spend some time reading and reflecting, or simply carry one idea with you into October, I hope you find space to slow down, listen, and receive what God has for you. As always, I’d love to hear from you. Reply to say hello, share what you’re looking forward to this month, or let me know how I can be praying for you. With grace + gratitude, |
